Gracie Gym Richardson
Every resident at Chapter House has a full membership at Gracie Gym Richardson Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The self-defense concepts with the martial art of Jiu-Jitsu are specifically designed to teach a smaller individual how to defend themselves against a larger individual by using leverage and technique. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches you how to fight off the ground, otherwise known as grappling, and submit your opponent through submission holds.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a common recommendation by psychologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists for individuals who need to experience connection with their body, build self-confidence, learn how to experience defeat and limitations, build boundaries and build community. When young adult men dive into the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, it can truly be life changing.
Every resident at Chapter House has a membership at Crull Fitness, a unique sports specific training gym. The gym offers group training, personal training, sports-specific training and special needs training. Crull Fitness claims to avoid cookie cutter machine workouts to help its clients and members become more fit. Personal training is offered at all levels.
Sports-specific training is designed for young athletes, college athletes and adults that play most sports, including football, soccer, baseball, and even figure skating and rugby. These sessions utilize vertical training, power training, speed exercises, agility work and injury prevention. Athletes improve balance and strength and other physical requirements for their sport.
