Chapter House Counseling Center is a licensed Substance Abuse Program providing both Partial Hospital Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services located in the Dallas metroplex. We specialize in advanced-level clinical services for individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders, with particular expertise in chronic relapse.
Chapter House Counseling Center isn’t a typical entry-level substance abuse outpatient provider. We work with individuals who have been exposed to other forms of treatment such as residential treatment, inpatient treatment, other intensive outpatient providers, and have often had significant exposure to
the 12 steps.
We go beyond traditional chemical dependency education and provide advanced-level clinical services. We dive into the lives of our clients and challenge their resistance, self-will, relapse history, self-defeating behaviors, and ineffective belief systems. We use peer accountability, 12-step immersion, experiential techniques, and family therapy to work with each client individually.

With over 20 years of working specifically with addiction and chronic relapse, Heidi has become a trusted voice, author, and blogger on treating individuals suffering from addictive disorders.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Tx. I discovered Drugs and Alcohol at the age of 12 and they were instantly the love of my life. My addiction would go on for the next 16 years. There were many attempts at changing my life, followed by still worse failures. I just did drugs – it was all I knew how to do.
Marty was born in Bedford TX and has lived in the DFW area all his life. He found drugs and alcohol at the age of 15, dropped out of school in the 7th grade and got his GED in 2003. The next 15 years consisted of lots of jail time and 17 treatment centers.

Heidi Voet is a licensed professional counselor in both Texas and Maine and is also a licensed counselor supervisor. With over 20 years of working specifically with addiction and chronic relapse, Heidi has become a trusted voice, author, and blogger on treating individuals suffering from addictive disorders. She has had several featured articles in “Addiction Professional Magazine” and served as a frequent blogger. She has been featured in A&E’s “Intervention” as well as the National Geographic series “How Drugs Work.” In addition, Heidi has presented at the Cape Cod Symposium for Addictive Disorders, the National Association for Addiction Professionals Annual Convention, the Texas Association for Addiction Professionals Annual Convention, as well as numerous other national and local addiction conferences. After completing graduate school, Heidi worked at non-profit women’s treatment center with pregnant and parenting women struggling with addiction. Heidi joined the staff at a long-term treatment center for chronic relapse early in 2007 and served as the Clinical Director until 2014. Heidi has also worked with thousands of families of addicted individuals through co-facilitating family program workshops. Heidi resides in Dallas with her son, Elliott.
